Bethany Brisbane

It’s about September 1999, when Ps.Hanny Yasaputra and family decided to accept the offer to be in the pastoral role of a small gathering that faithfully met in Mr.Budi Supandji’s place.

God bless the church since then, we grew rapidly while we moved from one venue to another. It’s to be considered as moving following the pillar of clouds and the pillar of fire.

When almost all the function rooms of the CBD Brisbane’s hotels we had used; in the year of 2002 – we found a good place to stay for a longer period, we had Sunnybank Hotel function room.

The church was growing since then and steady more on a foundation of the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Older couples, young couples and young peoples been added and they came to realize that they need fellowship more than once a week. Home cells been established and continue to grow.

The preaching of the Kingdom of God always be a style of the senior pastor, and proved the quality of life in the congregation became alive and improve in every aspects.

Relationships been restored, finance issues got a breakthrough, restoration of health has been tremendous testimonies, purpose in life happens, developing of Godly characters.

When God is in the House, the house will filled with His Glory.

Approaching the 8th of Anniversary, God spoke through a situation that forced the church to move to another venue, and at a same time of inconvenience, God spoke to us that He will give us a place of worship that will glorify His name. We do believe in God’s abilities to provide!

We have been created as history makers, so this history will be continued…

Statement of Faith

  1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
  2. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
  4. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
  5. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  6. In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
  7. Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
  8. In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
  9. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  10. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
